„Herstein” is the artistic pseudonym for Tatiana Anna Ostrowska. She was born in 1976 in Warsaw, where she lived and worked until October 2014 when she moved to London. Throughout her life so far has sought her place in life – she studied journalism, philosophy and psychology; she worked as a journalist and for many years she was the editor of graphics in a Polish newspapers, where she was responsible for the visual side of the journalistic media. She has developed artistic computer graphics and since her childhood she has drawn and painted as an amateur. In 2011, she abandoned her previous activities in order to focus on painting. She takes part in various competitions for painting. Currently, she mostly paints with acrylics and her favorite theme is nature – flowers, trees, birds. She s also interested in botanical art.
